How I like to define ‘ethical marketing’…
I am — not surprisingly! — often asked what ethical marketing and PR actually is.
There are various definitions if you go Google the term, but for me the simplest way to to sum it up is this:
Ethical marketing is where your head and your heart meet in your business. It’s where you find a way of connecting with your customers and staying true to your values, all the way through everything that you do.
Let’s put it another way: can you think of a business that keeps drawing you back? A business that makes you feel like you’re in exactly the right place. One that talks your language and reflects what’s important to you right back to you. A business where the energy is good, a business that feels like home, wherever your paths cross.
For me, that’s what successful ethical marketing and PR looks like.
