We're all hard-wired to love a good story!

... and telling stories is what I do best

Doesn’t sound like marketing? Think again. The most effective marketing and PR is all about bringing products and services to life, engaging your client’s imagination and desire through story-telling, and starting a conversation that leads to a lasting relationship.

I enjoy writing – it’s never a struggle – and when I’m not doing it professionally, I’m doing it for the sheer joy of it, through stories and observations of my own.

You’ll find some of them on my blog.

I learned my craft as a journalist and editor first. I've since merged those analytical and writing skills with a practical grounding in marketing and PR to help businesses and individuals win new clients.

Along the way, I’ve acquired a Masters degree in employment law and practice, adding the discipline of legal interpretation to my CV, and I am the co-author, with leading employment law barrister Daniel Barnett, of Intelligent Marketing for Employment Lawyers.

And I've been trained by leading US internet market Jeff Walker as a Product Launch Manager, and that means I'm qualified to ensure you reap the benefits from a powerful, foolproof, tried-and-tested formula when you launch your next product or service.

Places I’ve worked as a journalist include The Guardian, Daily Express, Daily Mirror, Granada Television and the BBC. I also know the ins and outs of public sector corporate communications, reputation management, and a great deal about what is – and isn’t – good PR.

And I don’t pretend to be anything that I’m not. I provide sound marketing support, and I write compelling copy. I am not a graphic designer; I don’t build websites; I'm not a printer;  I'm not an online video whizz; and I’m not an event organiser. But I know some great people who are, and when we work together we get some amazing results.
